Our Night Navigation Course is tailored for those who already have some navigation experience. It focuses on key skills needed for safe night-time navigation. You’ll learn how to use torches effectively, manage situations with low or no light, and master micro-navigation techniques.

The course takes place in the beautiful Lake District, using darkness to simulate challenging conditions. You’ll practice navigating in real-world situations, making the training practical and relevant. These skills are not only useful at night but also in other low-visibility conditions like fog or mist.

Course Details

This evening course is designed to fit the natural conditions. It typically runs from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM, entirely on the hillside. We confirm the exact meeting location three days before the course, so we can adjust based on the latest weather.

During the course, you will:
