Our transfer follows the picturesque Mizan Valley as far as the small settlement of Imlil where we will meet our trekking team.

From Imlil, we follow the trail that gradually climbs past the Shine of Sidi Chamharouch (2310m)  from here it’s a steady climb up to the hut where we may need to put crampons on and get our ice axes out.

Before we know it we are standing on this amazing summit – we’ve done it.

There is plenty of time to take in the breath taking views and of course that all-important summit picture. From the summit we will head back down the way we came back to hut where we will relax and have lunch before starting the walk back down the valley to Ammound . It is an extremely long day but it is also very rewarding.

    5. Day 5 Homeward bound

A single timed transfer to the airport normally around 9am.

Your need your tickets pre-printed out as Marrakesh airport  does not take apps.

    Accommodation

Throughout the whole trek you will stay in a hotel room (sharing with the same sex if you’re travelling alone) – or accommodation will be a traditional Mountain hut.

These will be booked for you by the adventuring team as part of the package.

Ideally, you’ll have walked in the UK or overseas before but no prior experience is necessarily required. We will be affected by the altitude as well as the weather but we will discuss how to manage this prior to the trek. Walking in the mountains can be very physically demanding so all we ask is that you have good level fitness.

This is a winter walking trip so there will be a requirement for ice axe’s and crampons.

We can hire these out to you if you need. You will also need B1 – B3 boots that fit well. Once we have received your booking you will be sent an extensive packing list of items that we recommend you bring.

Please do not book your flights until your place has been confirmed, We will send you details of the flights that we are on and hopefully you can book around that. Ideally we will all meet at a central airport and travel together, however if you decide to choose a different airport we ask that you try to arrive around the same time.
