Perfect for children and adults alike — our family adventure days deliver a genuine outdoor experience across the fells and gills of the Lake District. We specialise in family groups of all shapes, sizes and ages — from five-year-olds taking their first steps on the fells to teenagers craving a real challenge. Every session is led by fully qualified local guides who know how to get the best out of mixed-age groups, keeping the whole family engaged, safe and having the time of their lives. Choose from ghyll scrambling, canyoning, abseiling or rock climbing — we'll help you pick the right activity for your family's ages and abilities.

Activities Perfect for the Whole Family
Not sure which activity to choose? We'll guide you to the right one based on your children's ages and the family's confidence level. Every activity can be adapted — we've run sessions with fearless five-year-olds and nervous teenagers, and everyone always has an incredible time.
Ghyll Scrambling — our most family-friendly activity. Natural water slides, jumps and scrambles through the fells. Perfect from age 5 upwards and brilliant for mixed-age groups.
Canyoning — bigger thrills for older children and adventurous families. Waterfall jumps, slides and canyon swims.
Abseiling — descend a dramatic rock face as a family. A real shared achievement that everyone talks about afterwards.
Rock Climbing — problem-solve as a family on the crag. Builds confidence and teamwork in a beautiful setting.
