Welcome to Lake District Adventuring! I’m Jack Oliver, a passionate Mountaineering instructor who has spent the last 12 years exploring some of the UK’s most remote and breathtaking landscapes. From scaling rugged peaks to running across wild trails, the mountains have always been my second home.
Seven years ago, I turned this lifelong passion into a reality by founding Lake District Adventuring. What started as a small venture has grown into a thriving business dedicated to helping others discover the joy and freedom of the outdoors.
I’m proud to be a qualified Mountaineering Instructor, and I love sharing my knowledge and experience with clients, whether they’re new to hill walking or seasoned adventurers looking to enhance their skills. Living in the heart of the Lake District means I get to wake up every day surrounded by the landscapes that inspire me and share this beauty with others.
